Andover Liberal Democrats select Cllr Robin Hughes12.00.00am GMT Sat 4th Oct 2008
County Councillor Robin Hughes said "I am delighted to have been selected again to fight the next County Council elections and for the opportunity to serve the people of Andover North. The provision of Hampshire County Council services in Andover is vital to the future of the town. Andover's education, youth and older people's services need to be improved. Years of under investment in our area is demonstrated by the woeful condition of our roads and footpaths. I am keen to continue the fight at County Hall for a fair deal for Andover." Andover Liberal Democrats have selected an experienced team to fight next years Hampshire County Council elections. Robin as well as living in the Division has represented the people of Andover since the 1990's. In Andover South the Lib Dems have selected local campaigner Vince McGarry. In the Andover West the Lib Dems have selected former Alamein Test Valley Councillor Josie Msonthi.
